Working exclusively with our client, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join an expanding and forward-thinking IT solutions company. Headquartered in Fife, they offer services over a broad range of disciplines including IT Support, Cloud Applications Development, Digital Services, Telecoms, and Managed IT Services.
Your role will involve providing IT Consultancy knowledge and expertise, maintenance, and installation of Client IT infrastructure, as well Field & Helpdesk Technical Support. In addition, you will mentor designated Technical Team personnel, manage projects, and contribute to skills analysis and training needs requirements of the Technical Team.
You should have a good level of literacy and mathematical ability, as well as, be educated to degree level within IT or MCSA/MCSE qualified.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years’ experience within a similar role. Technically you should have experience of Operating Systems across different platforms, thorough knowledge of common desktop applications (e.g., Word, Excel etc.). It would be an advantage to also have sound knowledge of MS Hyper-V and VMWare and Networking/WAN's/Telecoms.
