IT Support (2nd Line) Engineer (Fife) - Fife

Working exclusively with our client we are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer (2^nd Line) to join an expanding and forward-thinking IT solutions company. Headquartered in Fife, they offer services over a broad range of disciplines including IT Support, Cloud Applications Development, Digital Services, Telecoms, and Managed IT Services.

Location: All roles are based out of the Fife Service Centre.

Summary of Position:

To assist with:

• Providing 1^st/2^nd level Helpdesk support

• Contribution to skills analysis and training needs requirements of Technical Team
• Any other duties associated with the position held

Minimum Educational Requirements:

• A good level of literacy and mathematical ability is required for this position.
• MCSA or MCP accreditation preferred.

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• 2 year’s of working in a similar role is essential.
• Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 experience is essential
• Basic TCP/IP and DNS knowledge, wired and wireless technologies.
• Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems is preferred.
• Experience of common desktop applications (e.g. Word, Excel) is essential.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate appropriate initiative when making decisions is important.
• Experience in working for an MSP would be a distinct advantage.
