Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer based in Hepburn (NE31). You will initially be required to work on site, however, after probationary period, this will be reduced to 3 days in the office. Working hours (37.5) are 9am – 5pm (including a half-hour unpaid lunch break). This role is one which will impact people’s lives in helping with disability support.

 

Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in both front-end and back-end development across a wide range of technologies.
  • You will work on end-to-end solutions, from database design to UI implementation, using modern DevOps practices and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a range of Web, desktop, and mobile applications hosted in both cloud and on-premises.
  • Development is done using the Agile methodology
  • You will engage at all points in the development cycle: design, acceptance criteria, development, QA, and continuous integration of their software.

 

Essential skills:

  • Extensive experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft stack including C#, .Net Framework & Core, T-SQL, LINQ & Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, IIS, and PHP
  • Hands-on experience in mobile development for IOS and Android (native or hybrid framework)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure & AWS cloud platforms
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (especial MS SQL (SQL Server))
  • Applying concepts of Databases, GUIs, REST APIs, Networks & Protocols
  • Experience handling CI/CD pipelines

 

Desirable (but not essential) skills:

  • Experience using Git / Azure DevOps, Visual Studio 2019/2022, JQuery, Windows Forms, MySQL, MS Power BI reporting, managing Linux/Apache web stack, Bootstrap front-end, Technology or education sector.
