Development Support Analyst (Aberdeen) - Hybrid Working (Office/Home)

Our Aberdeen client is looking for a Development Support Analyst that will provide support to our client’s applications by bug fixing and modifying existing and new websites browser based and applications based on .Net framework.  

The main purpose of this position is to work with the senior analyst developer and / or business representatives to provide support for applications, to provide an efficient delivery service to users across the business. The role entails working on a wide range of latest Microsoft web development technologies and includes Sharepoint related activities 

*Work pattern:  37.5 hours per week, Hybrid working arrangement (50% office hours)

Responsibilities

• All our client’s technology applications – in particular those based on .Net and Sharepoint
• Provide bug fixes to existing applications.
• Support the efficient deployment of new and modified applications.
• Database support and housekeeping as required.
• Add value to business processed to ensure efficient use of applications.
• Provide support to the senior analyst developer as required.
• Engagement with application owners in the Operations.
• Where required as Action Party, close out Actions in a timely manner.
• Refine/develop the existing review/challenge process and ensure “lessons learnt” are implemented.
• Adhere to / improve where appropriate any internal standards with regard to application development, maintenance and support
• Follow any current documentation standards
• Ensure compliance to all relevant Group management systems and where appropriate client procedures.
