Cloud Engineer - Remote Working

Working with an Edinburgh based client, we are looking for all levels of Cloud Engineer i.e. Senior, Lead or Principal. This role can be hybrid or fully remote working, and offers an excellent salary, dependant on experience, and benefits package. Experience required for the role will depend on the level, however you should have at least 5 years working within an AWS Cloud environment, although knowledge of other cloud technologies will also be a distinct advantage.

Expertise in several of the following areas is highly desirable:

• AWS certification (Professional or Associate level), but there will also be opportunities to gain (further) certification.
• Infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automation, scripting in bash and PowerShell, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef and SaltStack.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• Serverless, Kubernetes, and traditional application stacks.
• Operating and managing production cloud applications.
• Agile/iterative development methodologies.
• Programming languages and/or scripting languages.
